OK Here we go. Happy Friday Everybody. Yesterday afternoon when Vicki and I got home from work I took Maggie outside. After she took care of business we were just sitting on the step "chillaxin" and then I see a Momma duck come out of the bushes with 4 ducklings following her, I tried to wrangle Maggie inside before she saw them unsuccessfully she gets up and starts to charge while barking. The Momma duck Quacks and flaps her wings while running down the driveway to distract Maggies attention away from her babies. It worked Maggie chose to chase the mother duck rather than take the easier targets. I then was able to wrangle Maggie into the house and save the entire family of 5. They walked away happily and headed down the back yard toward the Pattegansett river. Let me just say this from the whole experience......when you here the term "ducks in a row" ... BELIEVE IT It was they were on a Fricken string tethered together. Happy Ending all ducks are alive and I dont have to pic feathers out of Maggies teeth! Have a great weekend.
