OK! Heres the situation: Your client is a natural brunette with 40% to 70% white (gray) hair. She has gorgeous, pale ivory skin tone and blue eyes, with a faded red/orange hair shaft. She requests a stong, European ROUGE RED FASHION shade, and demands a great red with perfect gray coverage: Heres what I do: Use BETH MINARDI PERMANENT CREME COLOR: Equal parts of 6CCR (Im On Fire) and 4BC (Nutmeg); mix with equal measure of Beth Minardi 20 Volume Developer. Apply to the gray roots, taking tiny sections, and process at room temperature for 45 minutes. I suggest you refresh the faded hair lengths for the last 10 - 15 minutes of the processing time. Use Beth Minardi Liquid Demi Color: One ounce 8C, 1/2 ounce 6CG, and 1/4 ounce 4RR, mixed with my 5 volume developer. I use this every four weeks on a gorgeous former model, whose below-the-shoulder hair is her pride and joy. She maintains with MINARDI LUXURY WASH AND AFTER WASH Level 2 (Balancing formula). Give this combo a try. I know you will be very proud of the luscious color you create!
