OK, I am so sick of hearing about Ferguson. This is in no way meant to offend anyone. I am not racist and I love everyone. First, IMO, I believe that Darren Wilson feared for his life and acted on adrenaline. Second, The mistake I feel he made was this; He should have called for back up when he realized that Brown was the one that robbed the store. This person was not innocent by far, I cant even imagine what he was capable of doing to the store owner had the store owner fought more to get the kid to give back what he stole. The media shows him as this innocent kid that graduated from high school and that is far from how this person was living his life. He used his size as a weapon to instill fear in others and nothing more. If he had not committed a crime he would be live and well today. On the night of the announcement of the no indictment, the police were determined to protect their own police department turf and to hell with all their own fellow citizens business owners. In that, I am very outraged. The law abiding citizens, whether black, white, asian, hispanic and arabic business owners had to sit back helplessly while watching these brutes loot and destroy everything in their paths. IMO, I felt they took advantage of a good crisis, why let it go to waste. Ironically, during looting video shots, it was people of color that were doing the looting. They didnt care who they were stealing from. With that said, I am broken hearted over the 12 year old from Cleveland that was shot by police. This was a 12 year old that was playing with a look-a-like air gun with its orange stripe peeled off. He was being totally stupid and irresponsible and pointing the gun and instilling fear into passers-by. However, police did not know whether it was a real gun or not. They pulled up almost next to the kid by the gazebo and shot him dead. Why in heck would they do that? WHat happened to giving yourself a safe distance and demanding the person put down your weapon and put your hands up? I have to ask what the heck are police depts. doing in the morning in the report room to ramp officers up? Where is the common sense in people any more....I know there is corrupt officers in our country and have no place in the field. I pray that more officers that enter the field do so with the heart of a public servant, not a power hungry testosterone driven power grab and bullyishness. My rant is over and I had to have my say. In conclusion, there are no winners in this. Darren Wilsons life has changed forever and so has everyone elses in Ferguson. This young man that happens to be black in this video nails it.
