OK I have been asked so here we go--7 facts. 1.) I am a 39 year cancer survivor. I am one of 3 who made it out of a wing at MD Anderson Hospital with 63 patients with the exact same cancer I had...Very treatable today but not so much 39 years ago. 2.) I began selling at age 11--the Lubbock Avalanche Journal and did not stop working until I turned age 55. Thats 44 years of work and by golly that was enough. At 17 I traveled across the country selling yellow page ads in college phone directories. It was the start of a lifetime in printed Yellow Pages sales and sales management. 3.) Had to think hard about this one--I have lived through 3 car wrecks where the automobiles were a complete total and 3 horrible motorcycle wrecks. Thats 6 lives....Counting the aforementioned I hope I have at least 2 left. 4.) I have been married for 34 years and they said that wouldnt be done either. Oh yeah her name is Donna, and I love her with all my heart but she is still on double secret probation and I do provide her with developmental discussions on a regular basis. 5.) I won a gold fish swallowing contest in college. I fooled em all. I ate the gold fish rather than swallowing them whole. 6.) I was ejected from a # of High School football games for fighting. I believe several of those were with the biggest stud on the opposing team. The opponents missed their player. I dont think my team was harmed to badly. 7.) At 10 years old I ate 5 orders of benets at the Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans--that would be 20 benets. I also, on a bet, ate a Big Mac in a single bite....I believe I was 19 at the time.
