OK I have not been paying much attention to the news today. SO... The news those of you in my musical family have been expecting came down today. To sorta kinda paraphrase the late Don McLean, the music dies on 10.28 at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. There are a few shows between now and then at summer festivals. There are no words to express what the ABB has meant to me over the years. I remember where I was the first time I heard them. I have loved all their music and cannot say enough about all the wonderful friends, brothers and sisters I have made through the Band. I love you all.
