OK...I might not be the most well read person...but rarely do I struggle to read articles in the newspaper. Here are a few of todays words from a single article by a syndicated columnist that I had to look up to either discover their meaning completely -- or double-check the appropriateness of their usage consistent with what I thought the words meant or might mean.: abstemious, defenestration, calumny, opprobrium, exegesis, and demagoguery. Talk about shades of William Buckley! So -- how did you do!?
