OK I need some advice. My OTTB mare spent the last year & a halfish getting fat on pasture & getting worked/ridden only once or twice a month (she was an hour one way from where I lived & my work schedule made it hard to get up there. She was also recovering from some foot issues). I moved her closer to my house at the beginning of Oct & she has been ridden 3 to 4 times a week since then. Now that she is getting back in shape Ive noticed she is getting a jumpers bump. Within the last two weeks it has become more obvious. I spoke to my vet & we agree that her pelvis is probably out of alignment. She wont be in my area till probably close to the end of the month. Im waiting for the other equine chiropractor to call me back to see when he can come out. My question is...should I still work her while I wait for an appointment? Maybe just lunge her? Or just turn out? (I forgot to ask my vet, but I will be seeing her on Sat for a fundraiser). Ill put a photo of her on the day she got to the new barn in the comments (sorry for the fuzzy main photo, I had to crop it)
