OK, I need to rephrase my question. I am contemplating a career change in 18 months (my company is shutting down in the Bay area). My Bachelors is in Computer Science, I have an M.B.A. and a Masters in Computer Science with an emphasis in Management. I am currently a Quality Engineer in the medical device field and am looking for a change. I like working with databases and I love researching the internet and playing games (who doesnt). Also, although I am not quite fit at the moment, I love everything fitness related (gyms, macronutrient talk, etc). I am looking for something closer to home (or working from home) or starting a business with less than $50,000 startup costs. Also, since I live in the Bay area and have a high maintainence wife (j/k ... sort of ... OK I want to maintain her highly), it would need to pay well. My question is, if you were in my situation, what would you do?
