OK. It is a bit of a story, but many of you have been following the countdown for over a month so you can probably get through this. 9 years ago Angela and I thought we had our dream come true when we closed on a antebellum Victorian mansion near Myrtle Beach, which we outfitted as a Bed & Breakfast. Of course, then 2008 came and all the subsequent shell games and bailouts, and needless to say, we paid a price. We walked away with nothing but debt in late 2008. But now: through the grace of God, through the power of positive thinking, through hard work and persistence, through creative thinking, from belief in the impossible, and for paying it forward in word, thought and deed, our service has brought us full circle, back to a new dream this time. Effective this very moment, we found a lodge on the Elk River where I just finished moving us in. I will post some current pictures when I find my USB cable for my smartphone, but in the meantime, there is an existing album in my pictures that I am making public so the curious can get a sneak peek at our jewel. There is much to do, and when we are done, I KNOW it will be a masterpiece. I am blessed beyond words with what God was able to do for me in such a short time, and I want everyone out there to know, He can do it for you too. I found out the secret, all you have to do is ask ! Anyway, sorry if this is anticlimactic; no baby on the way, no vacation abroad, no dream job at double pay, no Ferrari in the garage. But there is joy, peace, comfort, quality and blessings in my surroundings and I think this gypsy traveler may have finally come to rest ! PRAISE GOD, AMEN AND AMEN !!
