OK Ive watched ten minutes of some bilge titled From Beyond which is supposedly based on Lovecraft (how often these days does that particular phrase pop up in connection with a shite film?). Obviously these idiots who insist on churning out this garbage have no idea whatsoever about Lovecraft, or his craft. And while Im at it; Cthulhu plushies? Stop it. the Lovecraftian mythos should NOT be portrayed in the visual arts, comically, or otherwise. Physical representation requires an exactitude that defies and dilutes Lovecrafts original intentions. Dont extract the myth from the mythos... But I am barking into the winded void, as usual.
