OK Ladies and gentlemen ! well things are moveing forward quite a bit and at quite a pace, tonight there were five suits from the architects and developers present plus land owners, along with rugby club and car club people.. The architects have now appointed two developers (that is the people who will actually build all this) one for the houses on the rugby club site and one for the new Sports facility. More drawings of the site and its posible lay out, one issue was no parking next to the track which has now been sorted, The new developers of the sports ground were also not that keen on our toilets being in the rugby club house and were talking about building a seperate block, that was untill we pointed out that in our (that is the car clubs) original drawings we have our own toilets in our buiding, which now looks like what they will go with. An awfull lot went on and far to much to print here, the short of it is that the Rugby club have a meeting on the 9th April with the council planners, at this meeting they will either back or or go against these outline plans. Nothing is certain but from what we have heard tonight it looks like they will be looked on favourably as they already know about them. Again dates for all this were aagain talked about, September 2015 is still the aimed for completion date with April 2016 being the latest, Hold your breath but they say if it went well the car club could be the first on site, mid 2015 . I try not to get to excited, its by no means a done deal, but everytime we have a meeting things seem to have moved forward big time, the Rugby club have now been told to have there solicitors ready to sign contracts.
