OK ! O.P.s COOKING HINT OF THE YEAR !!! Lots of you folks like to cook (warm up) a can o pork n beans or a can o chilli or some other thick, canned food . . . right ? Youve pulled these cans of soup or beans or whatever outta yer cupboard, opened the top, dumped the top 1/3rd layer of the contents into the pan then spooned/dug out the rest of the contents. Heres a neat trick. The canned food you bought has been sitting on the shelf for quite a while and all the contents settled to the bottom leaving the juice and whatever on top. When you purchase these cans of thick whatever, store them UPSIDE DOWN in your cupboard or pantry. All the juice will move UP to the bottom of the can and when you open the TOP of the can, EVERYTHING will come out with NO DIGGING OR SCRAPING !!! It works GREAT !!! . . . . Store them upsidedown until you want to use them. then turn them over and open the top . . . everything just falls out :) . . . . Your welcome (y)
