OK, Officially mentally and emotionally drained. Most of the people I know personally on fb, NEVER see or know what I know. I dont expect anyone to take on my passion of rescuing and advocating, but it would be wonderful to see people who have animals not spayed/neutered read the stories from the rescue pages that appear on my timeline. Horrific, pics and stories posted one after another after another. Stories of men raping male dogs, dogs dragged behind vehicles, or hung from a tree to be bait or used for fight training; cats sat on fire for amusement, mutilated or also used for bait. It NEVER ends. Man Is The Only Living Being Who Is Cruel Or Destructive For The Simple Pleasure Of It. Therefore, I am personally involved in what little capacity I am able to be. For those of you who let your pets run wild and keep having unwanted litters, I strongly urge you to take a walk through ANY shelter. Rows and rows of dogs desperately needing homes. Some of them are terrified, some are depressed and some are just begging for attention; but all are HOMELESS! They are filled with love to give, but have no one to give it to. Many of them were once loyal to someone but were dropped off and discarded like the trash after they grew big, or someone lost interest in them. Are any of these mentioned yours or offspring of the pups you got rid of? Do you know their fate? Are they out in the cold or heat; on a heavy chain with a collar growing into their necks; lonely; hungry; thirsty; unloved? There are rooms filled with cages full of cats and kittens all because no one took the time or stepped up to be responsible enough to spay or neuter. MILLIONS of dogs and cats DIE every single year simply because they have no home and are repopulating faster than most shelters can make room for. NONE of this is a laughing matter. Be responsible with your pets. Take a 5 minute break from fb drama to educate yourself. Rather than search a persons name, try searching animal welfare, rescues and shelters. You are sure to be astonished. Looking the other way makes a person become become part of the problem, not the solution. You dont have to respect me, my opinions or my views. None of this is directed toward any specific person and my intention is not to point fingers. My only goal is to raise awareness. Hopefully someone will be encouraged enough to take interest, feel compassion, seek knowledge and begin their own personal experiences, understanding why its so important to be responsible for those who cannot speak for themselves. Open your heart and mind.
