OK... So I know Im supposed to be on the bench just lurking in the background... But with so many great photos being posted & new members to welcome... its been hard to just hang back. And... Ive found its easier typing on my iPhone with one thumb than on my computer with one hand. Besides... Im already going stir crazy... It only took 2 days for boredom to set in. Day 3 today... I looked out the window before sunset & saw some clouds offering some potential. Honestly... it would only have taken A single cloud the size of a handkerchief to catch my interest at this point. Against all common sense, I threw a camera in the car and took off for the shores of Edgewood Tahoe. Still in my hospital gown ( worn backwards) I somehow managed to drive my stick shift transmission and made it to sunset. Too hard to shoot much with the DSLR one-handed, the trusty iPhone served to slake my need to see a sunset and make a picture. Dont tell my doctor or physical therapist, but I just had to get out and do something. Now, the next challenge will be to stop by the store so I can stumble around in my slippers & hospital gown to pick up a few items of food. I guess I am not exactly the ideal patient. : )K
