OK Tahsisites, this is it – for now anyway. Finished the basement cleanup, found a few more. The river road shot is from my porch but facing the other direction (taken the same day, I think). The kayaker is probably Peter Gessner (it was Werners kayak), and you may recognize the spot as the big curve close to the mouth of the Russian River. The other picture is just about the only one I have that shows the townsite and hill area. Not sure who the kid is... it might be Rainer Gessner. Ive sharpened it as much as I can. The picture of guy (Bob Davies) and his son was taken the same time and place as the chopper picture. The dock picture, I may have posted a similar one before. Its when those Soviet fishing/spy ships were docked for a couple of days because the government would only allow them into a town with no road access. Got my first taste of vodka on that boat. All taken between 66 and 68. Anyway, glad youre all enjoying these... you can take the kid out of Tahsis, but you sure as hell cant take Tahsis out of the kid!
