OK: What seems to be the most asked question about my Carbon Express Nano Pros. How do you get a 450 bulldog collar to fit a 400 spine arrow or a 400 fit a 350 Do NOT just try and make it fit or you will be buying a new set of arrows. Take some fine grit sand paper and spin the end of the arrow over it 3-4 times to get a light 45 degree chamfer on the back end. Then stand the arrow up on a block of wood with the point end down. Hold the collar as evenly or square on to the chamfered end of the arrow holding in place with you fingers. Very carefully take a small hammer and gentle tap the collar making sure it goes down evenly on the back end. It will then very slightly expand over the chamfer until it sits on the back of the arrow. Next install the pin... Do not try and fit this dry or it might not go in. Add some string wax to the pin and then install. Without the wax it will probably only go half way and be very hard to get out again and likely to damage the arrow. You will now have an arrow so tightly clamped at the back end that it will be virtually impossible to break as nowhere for the carbon to expand when the pin gets hit by another arrow... In 3 years I have had just 4 arrows broken at the back end and maybe 400 pin changes... Carbon Express #bulletproof
