OK. With the latest forecasts it looks like we are going to get our wish. By the time its all done mountains may get over a foot of snow and the valley over 6. We are under Winter weather advisory for tomorrow from 6am to mid-night. Two systems are going to collide just south of us. One coming from the north and one coming from the south-west and bringing a lot of Pacific moisture. Up to 2 of snow may fall south of us. If you dont need to travel please dont. Its going to be dangerous if you include the winds of 10-20 mph in places. Please be aware that small changes in the track of the storm may result in large changes to the snow fall amounts. 2 may be here or just 3. NOAA is spending $45 MM on upgrading their computer systems. .They will be 10 times more powerful by the end of this year and will give a lot more accurate local forecasts.
