OK...a little long, but hopefully worth your time... Do you ever wonder why it seems the Arab countries always seem to be fighting between other countries as well as themselves? A little history lesson…. Speaking to Hagar, Sarai’s maid, God said in Genesis 16:11-12-“ And the Angel of the Lord said to her: “Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction. 12 HE SHALL BE A WILD MAN; HIS HAND SHALL BE AGAINST EVERY MAN, AND EVERY MAN’S HAND AGAINST HIM. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” – Abram’s (later named Abraham) and his Sarai (later named Sarah) didn’t wait for God to deliver His promise of a child, the “Child of Promise”, Isaac, so Sarai had her maid Hagar, conceive a child with Abram. God told Abraham in Genesis 17:21-“ But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.”- So we see that Abraham’s first son, Ishmael, was NOT the ”child of promise” but rather Isaac was. The Jewish nation is from the seed of Isaac and the Arab nation is from the seed of Ishmael. So, you wonder WHY the Arab world is always in a turmoil and they always seem to be fighting among themselves? Because that is the way God said it would be. So MANY of the answers to today’s problems can be found in this “Book of myths, written by a bunch of crazed old men that tried to get the world to see it their way”…. I guess I am one of those “crazies” that believe the Bible is the infallible, Holy Spirit inspired Word of God….and based on how many things the Bible says about things of the world, and how they pan out to be true, I would say I am one “on track crazy guy”!- Be Blessed!
