OK, all my faithful friends and prayer warriors and family, I need - TopicsExpress

OK, all my faithful friends and prayer warriors and family, I need your prayers again. David fell in the bathroom early Saturday morning and broke 3 ribs completely. He is in severe pain and we went to the ER which was a joke. The doctor wanted to send him home on a high potent pain med. What he did was write a script for the same pain med. he has been on since the amputation, only a lower dose. Please, if you have someone who has to go to the ER or the hospital, do not leave them there alone. This system is so screwed up. I asked the doc if he had read Davids home meds and he said of course. I asked him which pain med he was on and he hemmed and hawed and couldnt remember. So I showed him--he snatched the script from my hand and wrote him for the same one we have at home. Not that it will do any good but I am calling the hospital administrator today and if he wont talk to me then I will tell him I can write a nice letter to the newspaper. This fall has set David back an easy 6-9 months before he can be anywhere near independent again. I am asking for prayers for pain relief from his ribs so that he can get back to his physical therapy and does not develop pneumonia from not being able to move much. He is trying so hard, but if anyone has ever broken a rib, multiply that times 3 and you have his pain...along with the amputation and his fear of falling again. Our God is a good and loving God who has put some people here in my life who are angels on earth and my son is here as our guardian angel. God has already worked one miracle in my life today, so dont think prayers are not essential. I am taking this hour by hour and so far today things have changed 4 times. Thank you again, I am accepting any prayer, kind words or just your support for us that we need to conquer this. As always, thank you and God bless you in advance. Patty and David.
