OK, at the request of Roy Haines heres my top 12 albums as of today ( could be different tomorrow). Not in any particular order really. 1. Hawkwind - Space Ritual ( a deep, dark journey though the cosmos which I had the great pleasure of seeing played live last Saturday ;)) 2. Monster Magnet - Last Patrol (brilliant latest album which I saw them play live 2 weeks ago) 3. Motorhead - Overkill (where it all started for me. Never been the same since hearing this for the first time) 4. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality (brilliant album! Highlight for me is Into The Void) 5. Deep Purple - Made in Japan ( what an album! Space Trucking, Child in Time, Lazy, etc... Dont think Ill ever tire of listening to this) 6. Cathedral - endtyme (doomier than a doomy thing thats very doomy, out sabbaths sabbath) 7. Mountain - Twin Peaks (great live album containing a 31 minute version of Nantucket Sleighride...World in Action theme music some other old gits may remember. 8. Led Zeppelin - II (its got Heartbreaker on it end of!) 9. Iron Maiden - Brave New World ( could have chosen other Maiden albums but this one to me is the most consistent. Not a duff track on it) 10. Jethro Tull - benefit (just a superb album) 11. Clutch - Earth Rocker (hard to pick just 1 clutch album but this is my current fave) 12. AC/DC - Powerage (riff raff, sin city, etc...whats not to like? Maybe the album cover which is probably the worst ever). Could have picked a lot more e.g. Floyd, rush, porcupine tree, etc... But maybe another day. Peter Stuart Böyd its your turn next my good man
