OK everyone...... Lake Gillawarna (in Bankstown region) is a great place that is local. If there is a chance of more than 100 turning up then I have to make an application for usage (costs about $126 for park hire). Council operates the picnic areas on a first in, first served basis for bookings of 100 people or less. If you are expecting more than 100 people you will be required to make a booking so Council can approve the use of land for that purpose. We do not reserve areas, we only give permission for the activity to take place.Essentially, for over 100 people, you will need to complete the attached application. A park hire fee of $126 would be applicable. - I will pay this next week and organise a date in February or March I think.
