OK folks, I need to give you the rundown on my first P90X2 - TopicsExpress

OK folks, I need to give you the rundown on my first P90X2 experience. (Please note that I said first.) Let me start by saying that I will NEVER go back to a stinking gym. With that said, I am really happy with my results. I dont have all the measurements yet, but I went rom 217 down to 204. I have muscles where I never had them before, have a rock ass solid core and can perform movements you would not believe. This was a long journey for me. The base program is 3 Phases, each phase is 4 weeks standard, which means the average person who has done the lead in program of P90X can do it in 12 weeks. Well, since I did not do X, that meant that I needed to Do the 16 week version. I started January 1 and completed the program May 30th. Do the math.....that is 20 WEEKS!!!!!! Travel issues, back pain....etcetera.....you get the point. That is a long damn time. So, why do I still have a stinking fat layer I need to get rid of? One thing I now know for sure. If it takes 50 years to get on....it will not be gone in 20. Also, I really struggled with getting my eating right. VERY difficult when traveling. I do a little bit of that. P90X3 and marathon training will make this last layer melt away. BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT DIET. Also, my muscle mass would have been higher using weights and a chin-up bar, however, these things do not travel with me. FOLKS, this program is not for everyone. It is hard. It takes time. (Last time I checked, dying is hard too.) MANY grunts and groans come from the basement and the hotel rooms. But man is it worth it. I will never do anything else. SOOOO, if you want to know more about my experience, just ask. As soon as I get this gout under control and my back figured out, IT IS TIME TO PRESS PLAY P90X3 STYLE!!!!!!!!! (Biiioootttccchhheeesss!!!!) I promise pictures as soon as Gina gets home...we have been a little busy. PEACE OUT!!!!!! beachbody
