OK friends, heres the deal: I am fighting a few different maladies, and the combination makes for a troublesome time in warding off what seem like simple injuries. My immune system is weak because of the variety of Leukemia I am fightingI am also subject to problems with my feet because of my diabetes...and the combination of heart problems I have had, and the Lymphatic Leukemia mean that my legs swell up very painfully whenever I sit up or stand for any length of time. So I do The JJ McCartney Show from a comfortable recliner in Nightside Studio 2A. I control the whole show from the chair, using a wireless mouse to control the main brain of the complex. I use a separate computer to connect to our state-of-the-art digital phone system. I used a third computer to select and control the callers and guests, and I use a laptop to browse the web and collect facts on the fly during the show. Plus I have a miniature audio mixer to control my microphone and such, right from my chair. The good news is that once I am home from this upcoming surgery, the show will go on and everything will be normal. The bad news is that the surgery means that Wednesdays scheduled interview with Ambassador John Bolton has to be moved to Friday at 4PM Eastern...right at the top f the second hour of the show. That will not pose any problems, but I needed to let you all know, since I know many of you were looking forward to our conversation. Aside from that, We have some really big plans and I look forward to sharing them with you all in the FIRST hour of the Friday show! So there you have it. Surgery Wednesday, and back to business as usual Thursday. Since I will be out of pocket Wednesday, I will schedule an episode of JJs greatest hits...so to speak. Itll be a best-of compilation, and I know may of you will be delighted by the content and by the humor we will bring to this show. So dont miss the show...it will be pre-recorded, and it will be a great sample for anybody who is new to our family of listeners. One thing I promise: It will not be boring and it will not be like ANYTHING else on the old inter-web. BTW...the surgery I will be having will be to remove a bone spur from my right foot which has resulted in a painful and peristent wound on the bottom of my right big toe. This makes it very painful to drive, to walk, to stand still, just about anything where my foot is anywhere close to the floor. So the good doctor will remove the spur, and then it will be several weeks of me totally off the foot. I had this same procedure on my left foot about a year ago, and though it took a while, it healed up enough that today we call that my miracle toe...largely because the doctors thought they would have to amputate the thing, and then we got active on our prayer chain, and within a few days, it miraculously healed. So we are going to fire up the prayer chain a little earlier in this process for foot number two. The surgery will be an outpatient procedure if all goes as planned. Please pray all goes well, and thanks to all of you for your support. Now...Tuesdays show is going to be an awesome show...as we cut loose with a comprehensive presentation of the evidence against Barack Obama, Eric Holder, Vallerie Jarrett and the rest of the freak-show Obama administration. They are guilty of massive high crimes and felonies which must not go unpunished. The future of our nation, our children and grandchildren, depends on whether we can muster up the courage, the grit and the determination to demand nothing less than full prosecution for their crimes, and we must not be in the slightest bit lenient. Obama and his band of felons must be incarcerated for life, and we must rescind all executive orders, fire all the czars, and dismantle the welfare state, and replace it with a nation where industry is free to thrive, where regulations are scaled back to about the year 1900, and we must stop this morality madness. In short, we must stop allowing the tiniest few hairs of the tip of the tail to wag this big dog. JJ McCartney makes the case Tuesday, and its going to be a compelling presentation. jjmccartney/player.php will take you to the latest episode. And yes, they are all superb parts of broadcast history.
