OK, get ready to laugh. Yesterday trying to get into the driveway, the car slid and ended up in the ditch, tail end high, due to the depth of the ditch. Car looked ok, just off all wheels....so I called the flat bed. Flat bed truck came...drove up the driveway, parked on the hill...elevated the flat bed...and the driver got out of the truck...low and behold the truck started to move...driver tried to stop...truck broadsided the car in the ditch...another truck was called to pull out the flat bed...in order for the truck to get pulled out...the flat bed had to be lowered...crunch...we heard the rear quarter panel and then the bumper go...flat bed pulled out, car out...short and long of it...between the damage to the front and rear the car will be totaled. Kathy and Bill went down and bought a used Forester, with sun roof..heated seats...leather seats...about time mom and dad got something!!! Even the Sheriffs office was laughing at the dilemma. Momma is happy with my new to me Forester. Gods way of saying...no changes on the financial front for a while. Thank the Lord the truck will be done Monday evening.
