OK guys, Im scared. The new owner of my complex just stopped by and I found out the rent is going up to $650 and private pay only! $200 jump for me! They wanted me to consider a 1 bedroom to bring down the rent but, I need the room for my wheelchair to move around and theres doorways I wont fit thru in any other apartment here cuz they enlarged my bathroom doorway to accommodate my wheelchair. They have plans for a meal, transportation program and a clubhouse. I dont want to move, I have no where else to go! He said hed work with me on a medical hardship for the $650 rent. He was very nice and said he doesnt want me to leave. Id just dont do well with change and even though hes willing to work with me some, Im still scared and will not do well with this hanging over my head. Im a worrier and probably always be. All of this change starts 6/1!
