OK, here goes...Nicholas County defeated long-time rival, Bourbon County 73-71 on a buzzer-beater by junior Ben Duncan. The Jackets trailed the Colonels 71-69 with 22 seconds left. Senior Logan Fryman was fouled on a put back rebound. He stepped to the free throw line and sank both FTs. Bourbon Co. drove the lane and was blocked or stripped of the ball. Fryman comes out with the ball, dribbles at full speed down the court and passes to Duncan. After bobbling the pass, he picks it up, notices the clock, launches a 17 footer at the buzzer for the game winner! Jackets win! Fryman totals 25 points and 14 rebounds, Tyler Newton adds 19 points on 5 threes. Ben Duncan finishes with season-high 12 points. Incredible ride continues....
