OK..here goes..the number I was given was 13. 13. I was valedictorian, Caddo Parish student of the year, and a cheerleader at C.E. Byrd High School in the 80s. 12. I have never broken a bone, but I had stitches multiple times in elementary school. My foot: stepped on a broken coke bottle while running barefoot in the grass. My upper lip: A Holy Rosary kid swung her softball bat & it went thru my catchers mask. Above my left eye: Ran into a protruding tree limb while playing hide-n-seek in the dark and came close to losing my eye. 11. I am the youngest of 4 children but they are all half-siblings. 10. The smell of wintergreen gum nauseates me. 9. I REALLY have begun to hate fundraising. 8. I have always wanted to tour Europe and hope to before I get too old to enjoy it. My eyesight, hearing, and endurance are fading fast so it needs to be soon! 7. My favorite vacation of all time was going to Disney World with my girls. It was the 1st time for all of us and it was magical. 6. I cannot drive over the I-10 Mississippi River bridge. 5. I sometimes regret not getting married again while my kids were younger. 4. I am mystified by females behaviors toward/about each other. Just dont get it most of the time. 3. I miss my dad and wish I could talk and laugh with him again over lunch at Fertittas. 2. I tend to forgive people way too easily and too often....except for one...he will NEVER be forgiven....lol. 1. I have been a single parent 24/7, 365 days a year for 14 long years. My biggest pet peeve is when married peeps claim to be having it tough as a single parent(s) for the day/week/year because a spouse is working or is out of town. Its not the same....at all....ever....trust me. But I forgive you for thinking it is - see #2:).
