OK, is our education system failing us or are kids just more stupid these days?? Again, at McDonalds, ordered a chicken wrap and an iced tea, order came to $6 even. Gave the clerk a ten dollar bill, and she rung it up - but I quite quickly realized that I had too many ones and didnt want four more. So I gave her a dollar bill and stated for her to give me a five back. She looked real confused and said but I already rung it up. I told her again just to give me a five. And then she said but then my drawer will be off. I told her no, that I gave her a total of $11 and she just needed to give me $5 back, and it will all equal out. She gave me the five, but still looked totally confused.... I guess I come from the generation that totally learned the basics back in school.
