OK, it looks like the conversation for the foreseeable future will be about negotiating with terrorist. The reasoning on the Right is that we do not negotiate. Why? Because Ronald Reagan said so. Thats not good enough for me! An important part of the current version of The Soldiers Creed is, I will never leave a fallen comrade. We award those soldiers for risking their life to help their fellow soldiers. So, why should we as a country not risk our safety to bring Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl home? Does anyone really think the Taliban is not already doing everything they can to oppose us? Is there anyone out there who thinks the five detainees are any more dangerous than the thousands in the Taliban ranks? We will never come to a consensus on this one. So, my plan is to just turn and walk away from the conversation.
