OK, just want to clarify something, had some calls, texts and messages after the attempted robbery at the other jewelry store this afternoon. All kidding aside, most folks know me well. But just to let everyone know, I have no desire to shoot anyone or to take a life and certainly not over material items. I am not a bloodthirsty gun toting idiot looking for an opportunity to discharge my weapon. However, yes I do carry and I do try to get in as much range time that I can in. I know the huge responsibility it is to carry a weapon. No matter how much range time I put in, shooting paper is not being in a real dangerous situation, but repitition in anything makes it more of a trained and fluid motion. Assess the danger, check your background, engage. I certainly hope I never have to take a live or even shoot an individual in my lifetime. But if my family, friends or innocents are threatened by a real danger and I can prevent that, you can be damn sure that I will want to be ready, trained and able to make a difference. I am not a gun nut or vigilante, just a good guy that wants to be prepared for what I hope never happens. Thanks, love ya all , be safe.
