OK, last meeting of the reunion committee for the 45th Claas of 69! Have been to our hometown more in the past three months than I can remember! I purposely drive back past Cyphers market and turn right on Shakertown Rd. and run past Jim Corbetts old house and see Ed Staffords old place (still lives there) and make a quick left onto Grange Hall Rd. and pass the house where my Father was born on the kitchen table (Dick Pingston rest his soul, lived in same house 30 yrs later! Turn up the hill past my uncles Hawker Sand and Gravel. My cousin Jim and his wife still stand guard to the property and my Aunt Meriam just moved out at 97yrs of age! Our old farm house is still back there tho much smaller every yr I go back! Pass Gary Weeks old home and Tim and Chris Glotfelters old home where I went to kinder garden! We then turn on the corner of Indian Ripple and cruise past my child hood friend Jim Coxs house and his Dad still lives there! Steve Rasper and Ronnie Combs will remember the next sights! My next sights are the new Greene Shopping area where after they tore down my Grandma Mounts home to build Bill Knapps, now gone to build the shopping mecca! Stories, bring stories old new! Laughter and tears! Sept 5th at Zinc Field and Marions to follow! Sept 6th will be pancakes at the high school and a party at Beef O Bradys! Met Todd Koogler tonite (the owner of Beefs) We are gonna have fun! See you there!
