OK, last nights dream was a strange one. Deacon had somehow gotten ahold of a sketch pad that brought to life everything that was drawn on it. We found this out when he drew a little orange tabby and she came up off of the page! I told him to take it to his room and use it responsibly . . . BIG MISTAKE! The next thing I knew there were a dozen more children running around because he wanted some more little brothers and some sisters!!! Then I walked into my bedroom and Brocks jumped up on the bed; just as thin and frail looking as she was at the end, but entirely healthy. I started to pet her, and another Brocks jumped onto the bed, then another, and another, and another . . . . Preceding the appearance of each cat was a strange buzzing, humming noise. I finally tracked it to my dresser, opened the bottom drawer, and inside were nine more cats: three groups of three stacked on top of each other. Also in the drawer was Deacon’s sketchbook. On the page showing was a stick figure of a cat with an arrow pointed to it marking it as “Dinky.” Above the cat was the number 16, crossed out, with 28 written next to it. I grabbed a pencil and crossed out the 28 as fast as I could and scribbled “Cancel” over top of the stick kitty. Deacon got a long-winded lecture about responsibility, and I took the sketchbook to the pawn shop and started drawing gold jewelry. The (rather old and ugly) lady behind the counter was in the process of handing me $10,287.26 (yes, that exact amount) when my alarm went off!!!!
