OK my dears -- as we expected, the tumor is benign! Now all I have to do is get the surgery over with in the next month or so. The tumor is 13 x 7 by 4 so, as the surgeon so eloquently put it, its a whopper. This means one heck of an incision, the hope that the tumor hasnt attached itself to anything of substance and probably at least a 3 day hospital stay because there will be drains, dressings, worries about hematomas and infections, etc. but am I bothered? Oh heck no -- because no news WAS good news and I am more relieved by the news than I thought Id be which means I was secretly more worried than I thought I was. Silly me! Thank you, everyone, for all of the love and prayers and healing energy (and chanting!)...I really am so very, very lucky! xxxxx
