OK not sure if there is a practical joke about that somehow I have won the lottery ( which I have not ) but I have been getting many begging private messages, now Baggys is a very small run charity and I think in the scheme of things we do really well and have some excellent support but I feel I need to explain some basics for those that dont know!! About me.. I am a mummy to 5 children and a very grateful grandmother, I also have 9 dogs and a very understanding husband, a brilliant sister Vicki and the best brother and sister in law going, even though they think I am bonkers. I started work when I was 13 and have always been self employed which means if you dont work then no money, and if the crap hits the pan then you are on your own..no paid holiday and benefits!!what are they!!! so this leads me to the begging letters, We will do anything to help anyone that is in genuine need but please although I have full empathy to those that suffer with depression ( most of us have at sometime )but getting dogs because you think that will help is not the answer especially when your depression causes you to be out of work because as brutal as this sounds DOGS ARE EXPENSIVE and you can never predict what there needs are going to be, so as much as I would love to help my best advice to those that have asked me is please seek the medical help you need to help sort your life out then maybe you can come of benefits and afford your dogs. My apologies to anyone that this offends but I feel a great concern now knowing with some of the messages that I have received that some dogs may not get there basic needs met due to lack of forethought.
