OK, now it is my turn: I am wondering how we the people are allowing those we elected to determine whether or not we will be placed in economic crisis, again because they refuse to legislate and operate from rational thought. It is nonsense and has nothing to do with finding solutions to help promote the best position for the majority of American citizens. It is a continued refusal to except the fact that we live in a multicultural society that reflects in important policy decisions for the nation. It is ludicrous that we the people would let such a small group refuse to fund our needs as a country because that small group wants to address what they want to address and in their manner. It is irresponsible and negligent. We the people should be in an uproar as we have told them what we want done and are ignored and set aside. I cannot imagine having the audacity to be smug about playing russian roulette with our present and future interests based on a whim to gain political advantage. Even John McCain recognized it is a dangerous and shameful game that cannot be won, in the end the debt ceiling will be raised and the healthcare act will remain. Additionally, the budge will be passed. The game players are shown to be irrational and irresponsible legislators. Each and everyone of those that created and caused the current crisis with an intent to shut down the federal government for political advantage have shown they cannot exemplify those characteristics we hope to find in those that represent us, integrity, honesty, and an analysis of our best interests. I will be the first to ask for their resignations for their inability to legislate and place party politics behind that which is best for we the people. Mr. Speaker, please resign. Senator Cruz, please resign and take those that have followed and supported your unconscionable conduct with you. We the people want a government that is open and ready to work towards addressing the needs of a complex and multicultural nation. You have shown you do not have that ability.
