OK... now that certain things have been taken care of, Its time to explain why I have been doing all the walking I have been doing. I have had some comments and private messages made telling me that I am doing too much and not to over do it. Problem is.. I dont have a choice. Tomorrow starts everything I have been working toward most of this year. Since April 26th I have lost 81 lbs (still have 100 to go) and literally mowed my butt off all summer. The whole idea behind losing this weight (besides the health factor of less strain on my heart.) was to get my body in shape to be able to make another attempt to be able to work at Amazon. Last week I was given that chance and a choice to make. Wait and let an opportunity pass me by that has the potential to get my family on its feet and allow us not to have to receive help with things we should be doing anyway. Or take a chance and put everything I possibly can into a job I know is going to be rough and that I may not be able to do. Time to take a chance. I go for orientation tomorrow for a few hours and then begin working this Friday at 7:30 AM working 10 hour shifts that require heavy amounts of walking and pretty much non stop with the exception of breaks and stand-up (which is stretching done before the shift and after returning from lunch). Honestly I am extremely nervous about it because I have worked there before and this time as far as I have been told the job I asked for and was given requires more walking than my previous position. I dont know how my feet are going to react and I dont want to go out there only to find out once again that my body cant handle it. Been there - got the t-shirt back in 2012. I am in better shape than I was in 2012. Honestly I am in better shape than I have been in even when I was in the low 200 lb range. So.. I ask that those of you that pray, please pray for me to be able to handle the work this time and do what it takes to keep the job. I really need this for my family and honestly for myself to prove that everything I have put into this was worth the effort.
