OK, official update... Im home. No complications, woke up and was a bit crampy but it was bearable. Turns out the golf ball was more like something between a tennis ball and a baseball... And it was attached to a muscle, which is where the pain was coming from. Makes a LOT of sense. Even with the painkillers I can still feel stuff, but one huge thing I noticed is that Im not LIMPING! The side/hip area pain is almost completely gone. So we will see how I feel tomorrow, I might even try to get Reggie groomed. But we will see. Still figured a good idea to drive the truck this weekend rather than Barney... He has a clutch and figured I would rather drive an auto. And I like the seats better in Percy (the truck) better anyway. I have most of what I need in there already, although need to put another toy crate in there if Im going to take Reggie. Just wish I had felt more like actually WORKING with him this week. Next week should be better, but after this weekend Im going to cut him back a bit so that his hair might come in a little thicker. Ill see about taking the girls out a little instead for a while. So even though I was quite anxious about the surgery and all, Im SOOOOO glad I had it done. And an added bonus is that while they were in there, they took out a little plumbing (fallopian tubes) so I am essentially SPAYED! ;-) (the doctor had a good laugh over that term!) Bobs coming over so we can cuddle for a while and watch some TV. Ill probably just fall asleep on the couch with him... ;-)
