OK, people. My preparation for the London Marathon has not been perfect, but when is preparation ever perfect? This last week has involved more work stress than I prefer, but Im a regular person working a regular job, not a professional runner, so I just have to deal with that. This is going to be a great day. Ill leave with the words of Steve Prefontaine: I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.
