OK people this is not coming from Grant the Comcast employee it is coming from Grant the friend. I just spent an hour on the phone with Dish Network trying to get my mother in laws service canceled. You would think oh she has 3 days minimum to cancel no problem and you would be wrong. Dish network doesnt offer a grace period of any kind what so ever. As soon as you sign you are in a 2 or 3 year contract and its $480 cancelation fee. Unlike direct tv which has a 3 day grace period with a cancelation fee ans Comcasts cancelation is 30 days after 30 days on contract to cancel its $75 for a 1 year contract and $150 for 2. Which makes more sense?
