OK... quick question... and while this is not a common core math question... I hope it will make you consider simple math... Today is the deadline for Obamacare enrollment.... the established law of the land... heres the question... There are 325 million people in the United States. It was estimated that there were 15 million uninsured out of those 325million. The current administration was compelled to pass this law to provide fair opportunity for those uninsured (or unisurable) to obtain coverage. In the process of administering that law they added another 3+ million people to the roles of the uninsured by cancelling their current insurance plans. Now the administration boasts that there have been 6 million enrolees to their plan, and they are on target for 7 million.... which is half of the estimated uninsured that this law was designed to address. Out of those 6 million, it has yet to be determined who of them is actually insured, who has actually PAID for such insurance, and how many are in the targeted young & healthy demographic that is needed for Obamacare to remain sovent. So the question is... who of you still think this is a good plan and support it? I guess this is more like a common core math question than I thought.... none the less... if you support Obamacare... I really want to know your explanation... because much like common core reasoning... I dont get it. Help me out.
