OK, seems Im IT now, thanks a lot Jennie :P My turn to tell of 8-10 things most of my Facebook friends dont know... ha its not as easy as it looks :( here goes 1) I was christened Elisabeth Martha Jurkiewicz something i have been trying to ignore for most of my life, especially the Martha bit 2) between the ages 10 to 14 I went to 8 different schools across 2 continents and 3 states 3) I met my husband Voya on the school bus :) lol 4) my first full time job was learning to be a computer operator for the Snowy Mountains Authority in Cooma NSW 5) Instead I got married and had my first daughter at 18, then a son, followed by another daughter to complete our beloved family and firmly set our roots in Australia 6) after living in Australia for almost 50 years I went back to my place of birth, stood in front of the house I had last lived in Germany as an 11 yr old girl and did not have the courage to knock on the door and say gooday to family still living there, something I have regretted ever since.. 7) I love to sew and embroider, but dislike doing tapestry and thoroughly dislike knitting, definitely something i did not inherit from my Mother, a copious knitter 8 ) I like a tidy and clean home but I am a hoarder and do not like housework, so there is no chance for me to ever quite get it right :( 9) I failed 2 subjects for my Intermediate Certificate - needlecraft and home eco, now i have a house full of cookbooks, and a wardrobe full of fabrics stashed away in case i could perhaps use then in some future quilting project 10) as a young girl I dreamed of marrying an Aussie farmer, instead I married a Yugoslav farmers son, and we live on just over 1 &1/2 acres, so after close to 48years of marriage, guess we didnt do too badly ------- If I had the chance, perhaps with a few small changes, I think I would do it all over again......
