OK, so I had my little rant about the mail. Now lets look at the situation like I would look at it. Every address either is a good address or doesnt exist in databases. Why wouldnt it make sense for USPS to scan mail for addresses that exist before the piece goes further in the system? The mail could be returned right there instead of being rejected at the other end. I know. I probably dont understand.
