OK so I will weigh in on yes or no on A and B. Number one: I am a tax paying property owner . Number two I get nuasous when I smell pot smoked or especially when having to smell it being grown. Number three (and this is a big one) my home is my safe zone (a drug free environment) a place I come to to relax and enjoy family and my yards. Recently all I smell 24 hours a day 7 days a week is pot being grown in obviously large quanities. My home of 40 years is no longer my safe place. The smell of my flowers and fresh cut lawns no longer exists due to my nieghborhoods new over-whelming odor. My nieghborhood is a small residental area, not commercial, industrial or agricultcural. It has for years been the same, a place where people start families and raise their kids. We havent had rice growers, cattle ranchers, or even pig farmers due to these producers ordinarily growing their goods in agriculural areas. My new nieghborhood farmers are by the way not even property owners, they rent. Their goods I am sure are not inspected by any of the agencies that inspect all other consumable goods nor are they monitored by agencies such as the EPA to ensure the safety of soil and ground water sources. So with all that said....... I am very opposed to allowing the growth of pot in residential zoned areas and believe that if this product is to be declared a medicine then let it be monitored and tested in all phases of its production as we would demand other such medications and,,,,, demand that it is produced in areas determined to be for agriculture. I will actually take this one step further: As a person who has a medically defined condition (addiction/dependency) that has been in remission for close to 10 years, I feel that my right to live in a drug free environment is being violated as well as my right to breath clean fresh air. If voters find that it is reasonable to allow the growth and manufacturing of pot in residential areas I believe the next reasonable step will be to file lawsuits against growers for my pain and suffering due to their crops
