OK, so I’m accepting the grateful challenge from my Biscuit, - TopicsExpress

OK, so I’m accepting the grateful challenge from my Biscuit, Chaundra Weston Jones. I’m supposed to tell 3 things for which I am grateful. It’s hard to list specifics when I’m limited to three, but here goes. I am grateful for an incredible circle of friends and family. With a support group like you guys, failure is impossible. You bring out the fighting spirit in me when it is time for a fight, and you put the biggest smile on my face at other times. I wish that everyone could have this same circle. I am blessed beyond measure. I must specifically mention my Biscuit when talking about my circle of family and friends. I’ve smiled all my life, but it became more sincere the day that I met you. I am grateful that I lived long enough to learn the redeeming power of forgiveness. The day that I truly learned to forgive, my disposition changed. Of all of the things that God blessed me to know, the thing that I’d want most people to know is the solitude that accompanies forgiveness. There is not a better place on this earth. I am grateful for the ability to dream. The ability to dream separates you from the harshness of any present reality. God gives you dreams, and instills in you the ability to make it happen. Dream it, and make it happen. I awake each day with the understanding that this was all once a dream, and is not to be taken lightly. Now I get to challenge 4 friends. Again, it’s hard to have only 4, but the 4 that I’ve decided I’d like most to hear (and most likely to accept the challenge) are Trent Griffin (the world through your eyes is such an interesting place), Millicent Manning Black (Your smile and disposition just scream gratefulness!) George Bennett (I’d explain why, but I don’t want to get mushy) and Melanie Dockery (Just cause I don’t believe you’ve thought about me in a while, and at this moment, I thought about you!) Have at it, guys, the grateful challenge!
