OK, so where do I start this morning....How about...WOW.....out-flippin-standing!!. First things first a BIG thanks to everyone who helped me not only keep Normas Surprise Birthday Party a secret but who also those very special people who helped me turn it from a devilish thought to a full blown reality. Michael, Nancy, Diane, Edson, Esther, John, Kayla, Marks Prime Steakhouse and Seafood of Ocala, Michele of Cupcakeables These people did a wonderful job at not only helping me plan and execute this surprise party, but also keeping the lid on it for the past 6 weeks or so in order that the wife wouldnt find out. I could not have done any of it without yall. Yes, there is much more to this story.....like first the surprise on Normas face walking into the private dinning room at Marks and so many of hers and our friends. Blew her mind. Like Wow. THEN...the usual dinner, chatting with friends, etc....I get up and make a little speech about thanking everyone for being there, oh...and for those who didnt know, Normas and My Wedding Anniversary is in 2 days....and these is a famous story about how I never officially asked her to marry me 12 years ago, it just kinda happened....so I dropped to one knee, pulled out a new wedding ring and officially asked her to marry me.....lucky for me, she said yes. I then asked for a minister in the house. My Brother, Edson stood. So my Brother John Smith stood up to be my Best Man, My neice Kayla stood to be Normas Bridesmaid, and we renewed our wedding vows. THEN.....the wait staff at Marks brought in a ALLERGEN FREE Birthday Cake that Michele from Cupcakeables made and delivered... All in all, just one surprise after another....absolutely Out-Freakin-Standing job...my thanks & love to all of yall.
