OK, some quick updates: The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has resulted in over $2.3 million in contributions to the National organization, and over $4 million when the Chapters are included. Over 50,000 videos on YouTube. To ANYONE who says this is a waste of time -- and MANY ill-informed negative s***heads have -- I say ¡Vete a la chingada, pendejo!. These funds reflect a 12,000% increase in donations over a similar period last year, and will directly affect the lives of ALS sufferers all over the country. These figures were confirmed to me personally by the association. Even though I took the challenge on August 7, I just donated $200 to The ALS Association Golden West Chapter through their website. #icebucketchallenge #strikeoutals
