OK...the wait is over. Change is never easy & this is no exception! After 14 years singing Tenor with The Gospelmen and also handling the booking duties for several of those years, Tim Herbert is stepping down at the end of this year. Tim explains his decision in the letter attached & we accept and support his decision! We will certainly miss Tim and all he has done but we must & WILL go forward! With that being said, we welcome back to the Gospelmen; Bill Milligan! Many of you may remember him about 13 years ago when he sang Lead with the Gospelmen. I am thrilled to have my dear friend Bill at my side once again! Bill also has a brief Bio below. Ecc. 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under Heaven For the past 14 yrs Ive had the privilege and honor to sing with one of Michigans premier groups, The Gospelmen. The Gospelmen have become my extended family as well as many of our followers. Its with that being said, that makes decisions of stepping aside even more-so difficult. Crossing the country, singing with many National and Regional groups, making new friends everywhere we go and most importantly, singing to audiences about my Jesus, will be missed. Even though Im stepping aside, I know that God will continue to use the Gospelmen in a mighty way as they continue to sing His praise. Pray for them as they now seek out another Tenor. I will remain with the group until the end of the year or until another Tenor is brought onboard. So that there is no misunderstanding, the need to step aside is due to the loss of a recent job. I need to be open to something that may require weekend work. Pray that God opens up that door soon. I look forward to seeing where He leads and possibly have the opportunity to once again sing for His glory. As the verse says, there is a season and a time and Ive truly been blessed to spend a season and time with the Gospelmen.
