I publicly wish to state that I am no longer a Republican will never be a Democrat and will NEVER, EVER vote for any human with a D or an R next to their name local, state or national. Don’t even start with comments about “I’m wasting my vote”. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. I may be an insane Steelers fan cheering for them over and over no matter what they do. From this point forward I refuse to be an insane American voter. On July 6, 1854 in Jackson Michigan the Republican Party was established by Conscience Whigs and Free Soil Democrats opposed to the Kansas – Nebraska Act. If we had Facebook in 1854 you would see posts stating that “A vote for Republican is a vote for Whig”. The puke I heard spewed from our “leader” last night was nothing compared to the puke spit out by “reporters”, radio personal, and social media. If we as a country are this divided. If our Democrat and Republican “leaders” embrace, create and nurture this divide then that should be proof that it doesnt matter if their Republican or Democrat they are out for power and power alone. How else can the Democrat “leaders” make very intelligent people believe that the rich should pay their fair share when THEY ARE THE RICH!!! Have you seen what members of the Democratic Parties net worth is? For that matter how do the Republicans convince, again very smart people, that they have a new plan? George Bush, George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney, Mitt Romney and John McCain WHO IS REALLY A DEMOCRAT. Nope that’s it for me. Everybodys out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickels worth. Banks are going bust. Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and theres no one anywhere that seems to know what to do with us. Now into it. We know the air is unfit to breathe, our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes as if thats the way its supposed to be. We know things are bad. Worse than bad. Theyre crazy. Its like everything everywhere is going crazy so we dont go out anymore. We sit in a house as slowly the world were living in is getting smaller and all we say is, Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster, and TV, and my steel belted radials and I wont say anything. Well Im not going to leave you alone. I want you to get mad. I dont want you to protest. I dont want you to riot. I dont want you to write to your congressman because I wouldnt know what to tell you to write. I dont know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crying in the streets. All I know is first youve got to get mad. Youve got to say, Im a human being. God Dammit, my life has value. So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window, open it, and stick your head out, and yell, Im as mad as hell, and Im not going to take this anymore! I want you to get up right now. Get up. Go to your windows, open your windows, and stick your head out, and yell, Im as mad as hell and Im not going to take this anymore! Things have got to change my friends. Youve got to get mad.
