OK to bring you up to date on my research of 400 years of silence. If I start with a little background and throw out things like; The Persian Period, Mount Gerizim and the Samaritan temple, Elephantine Jews, Alexander of Macedon, Hellenistic culture, Ptolemy I, The Seleucids, Judas the Maccabee, John Hyrcanus, and the Apocrypha, everybody would know what I’m talking about? I thought so. I could write a thesis on this and not put a dent in it. So I’m going to sleep on it, mull it over and do it in two paragraphs
