OK vote time !!!! who wants to sound off and vote on something ?! ( btw... I hate they took the voting thing outta the post section :( ) anwayyy .... WHATS IN A NAME ?!?! Everything honestly ... I am working on something and need a name for the space ... As you may know... I have had a DBA and LLC name as Rad F/X Co or Company since 2000 ....never actually making any money with it ... LOL ... but now Im buckling down and trying to figure out how to make a go of all this .... what to call my little corner of the universe ? I have always been partial to Atelier I just love that ... ITS FANCY! lol ... for my WV (and more southern bretheren) its pronounced AT-til-yay NOT AT-LER Its French for workshop or artist studio. BUT it does make me think FINE art, paintings, statuary, etc. and makes me lean towards High end and if you would see this place ... SHEW!!! ... it SHO aint no Atelier ... (more an At-Ler) and Im not really a fine artist ...at this point... Plus Rad F/X Atelier... meh ... doesnt sound right... Shop sounds too much like wood shop from 8th grade to me ... check that one OFF the list ... a workshop is something I HOLD for other people ... and it makes me think of ...olpapaw in his workshop. Besides, I cant really advertise a workshop at the Rad F/X workshop ... WHUUUTTTH??? that confuses ME ! What about studios ???... nooo because that makes me think filming studios , recording studios, and the like ... and although I will be doing some of that I dont think I care for what the general public will assume from that name, and a studio is an apartment with a bed in the livingroom and kitchen.... :/ Perhaps shit house ??? ;) Oh I slay me... Im stumped .... any idears from yous guys ? Sound off in comments !
